No one else is willing to make hotdogs out of homeless bums.

Good to know that their vendors have historically always been sketchy looking

Don’t even care how filthy they are, I love a lucky dog.

As a hot dog connoisseur, I can honestly say lucky dogs are the worst hot dogs ever

Even completely wasted I couldn’t eat it

It's not often you see hot dog carts with the original water, either. Rare, that.

I’ve never had a Lucky Dog, but I love seeing the carts. I have, however, had those shrimp on a stick things from Takee Outee that remind me of Christmas trees

A fun read on the business was written by a longtime manager: "Managing Ignatius: The Lunacy of Lucky Dogs and Life in New Orleans", by Jerry Strahan

They are not good dogs, the cart itself is false advertising as you think you are getting two dogs in one bun.
GAS station dogs at least have a pop to them.
Sad as hell we don't have better street vendors. The Mexicans in Hollywood who sell bacon wrapped dogs cooked on a shopping cart grill have better dogs.
