If no one comes up with anything in Baton Rouge, Joey's in Lafayette has some house made frozen side dishes. They would ship them to you if you don't want to pick them up.

LINK

The only one I can vouch for is their sweet potato crunch.

Bergeron’s City market has a bunch of stuff, on Jefferson Hwy.

Calvin’s in Bocage might be a good place to check too

Joey’s In Laffy was the first thing that came to mind for me as well. Doesn’t maxwells do something similar?

Is there an Hebert's Specialty Meats over there? Incredible frozen sides.

No longer in bidness, unless they opened in another location.

Oh ok, OP was asking about places in BR, so I was suggesting Maxwell's there. Now, I want Joey's for lunch

Non-entrees? Vegetables, mac 'n cheese, rice dressing. If you look at the link I posted, those are all sides. Smothered okra, corn maque choux, sweet potato crunch, vegetable medley, roasted asparagus. That kind of thing.

You could try Bergeron’s in Port Allen.

Maxwell's Market does spinach soufflé, mac and cheese and and a couple of other frozen sides that they keep in the frozen case. I'd also check Rouse's.

Tramonte's has some frozen already cooked stuff. Most of it is gumbo, stews, sauce piquant, but I'm pretty sure they have some sides that might interest you

This. You can just walk in and choose from what's in the case or you can call a few days ahead of time and order what you want. Menu
