they have been running some radio ads here in the chuck lately and they say Basile, it must be one stop light north of Evangeline

While, granted, they're not doing anything mindblowing over there. I'd have a hard time coming up with a place that does what they do, better than what they do.

Personally, I love the place for what it is.

Probably so I may have just never realized it was in Basile since the route I always take goes through Evangeline and then D.I.'s is the next thing I see

Judging by the amount of cars in front of the place....you are not alone....FYI...they told me they take frozen catfish and use a meat slicer to get that thin slice....me, I just want to taste the catfish.

Haven't been in a while, but Hymel's - in Convent is always good.

I like these as well:

Tunk's - outside of Alexandria.

Charlie's - in Springfield.

Not Your Mama's - in Morganza (Better than the one in Lavonia)
