Perdomo 20th Maduro is my current fav. Any others comparable to that one?

The Plasencia Alma Fuerte is pretty close, but they’re $30 a stick

Not worth that, imo.

What did you think? I like Plasencia, but they’re too expensive for what they are.

Did not even waste my Liga on yesterday. Worst CFB opening day of all time.

This always happens at the worst possible moment. I have finished yet another box of Aladinos... And I need some for tomorrow morning at 8 am.

Anywhere from covington to lafayette sell them?

Churchhills does not.

This is my first day off work since the day after the storm. 16hr shifts.

I’m very very very very enjoying this DE Nica Rustica at the moment.

You earned that one. Is that place on Perkins by Benny’s not open anymore? Can’t remember the name.

Overpriced like Davidoffs. Plenty of other high quality cigars for half of what those cost.

Received my box from Germany. Is it normal for the box to have been cut open at the seal, and wrapped in plastic with a Boveda pack? If so, why is that?

Yes. They slice it open to verify that it is legit.

Q. Do you ship your cigars in their original boxes with bands on?
A. Yes, we ship all our cigars in their original boxes with bands on unless otherwise requested. Occasionally a box will arrive without a barcode. Please note that we do not do this ourselves, but some of the distributors we buy from do this to protect themselves from having the product traced back by Habanos, as they are selling out of their authorised region.

Q. Do you open your boxes for inspection?
A. As a general rule we open all our boxes prior to shipping as a last stop quality check. Most of our clients insist that we do this. It also allows us the opportunity to put extra padding in the boxes to protect the cigars where we deem it necessary. If you would prefer to receive sealed boxes then please put “SEALED BOXES” in the comments section when you place your order. This way we will know that you do not want your box opened.

Ive never requested sealed fwiw

Appreciate the info. I guess I could have read the FAQ on their website, lol!

I CAN NOT wait until the cooler weather this weekend to give one of these a try. No more cleanup, debris hauling, loss of power. Just in time to relax and give thanks.

Since they were shipped from overseas, I’d let them rest in the right RH for about a month before smoking.

With our humidity being what it is, I find Cubans at 65% RH is best for me. Also before smoking, let it sit outside for about 15 min is right on the money.

All other cigars, I keep at 69% RH

I am currently working on a "Wineador" since we recently remodeled and added a bar with a dual zone cooler. We have an older vinotemp we no longer use, so I will be using it as my new humidor since I am outgrowing my desk top size. Will post pics of build.

Looking forward to this. It doesn’t seem like too complicated a process from what I’ve seen online, but it’s not like anyone is sharing their mistakes

I smoked two cigars today I’ve never had and both were fantastic. Esteban Carreras Chupa Cabra and a CLE Corrojo. Highly recommend. Neither are outrageously priced either.

I'm not looking to make it complicated so I'll post all things as I go along.

My favorite right now but yes, too pricey.
