I have been on a four roses kick lately. All of it. What you got?

You don’t have to read the big thread, you can just start posting in it...

Have you been drinking single barrel store picks?

Its a thread for the uber serious bourbonites.....and that's great. But not all of us want to delve into that byzantine hole. A quick thread about bourbon is less intimidating and moe in keeping with a chat board vibe.

Agree. I have nothing against the whiskey chat room but it’s not a place I’m likely to jump into.
It’s more like a private club with everyone posting pictures of what they are having currently. Very difficult to discuss. Questions/comments get lost.

I've been into Woodford Reserve, Eagle Rare, and Buffalo Trace. Have a bottle of Blantons that I finally scored and nip into occasionally.

Saw Rebel Yell on the shelf for about $13 one day and thought, what the hell. It turned out to be pretty darned decent, especially for the price.

Love that stuff. It's hard to find here in Alabama for some reason, so I always buy a bottle or two when I'm in Georgia.

for a really fine whiskey always straight. Depending on my mood either room temp or whiskey stones.

For a medium to good whiskey over rocks im fine with.

Four Roses Single is such a great bourbon. Moderate price, smooth and sweet. A strong pour over a giant ice cube on game day... hard to beat.
