Yeah. I was being facetious.
After I read it again, I suspected as such. It's so hard to tell around here sometimes, though.

Ah, ok. Lay it on a little thicker next time,

something like puppy drum though .. $25 for it @ Rue 127? they can gtfo.
I know a couple of people that work there, one server I've known for a decade plus, and she hooked me up when I went but still the food wasn't good enough for me to want to go back. It's cramped, and the choices are just okay. I did like the rabbit pot pie, but there are better options.
I like the 100 year old plus places in the city. They all have their places. Though in the French Quarter I prefer dinner at Muriel's and now Iris.
I've yet to try Stella, and a few other top notch places there.

Antoines is teetering the line. They have a very good brunch. Need to step it up, but its not a ripoff.
I believe this is the point of his argument.
Brunch is probably the worst food value at any restaurant(for the customer).
Galatoire's and Antoine's have been making the same dishes for decades. Once you've been a time or two you're all set.

This is very true. You are paying for the dining experience.
Though the prices at Elizabeth's and the Ruby Slipper are really good for Brunch.
Though I would always prefer actual lunch to brunch.
