I'm a craft guy, and the words "Bud" and "Light" are where I stopped reading...

Good reviews from who, people that already love Bud Light/Coors Light/Miller Lite, or people that enjoy drinking beer enough to drink a quality beer?

It's not a great beer but it's not horrible either. I def don't see them trying to tap into the craft beer market with this product. The price is too cheap compared to crafts. They've been pushing Stella Artois. Also, they have more Shock Top flavors coming out. I bought the Shock Top Wheat IPA 2 days ago and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was.

Got the notion from online speculation. I think it is targeting dance clubs.

I'll have to keep an eye out for that. I don't usually like Shock Top, but I do like IPAs.

That's what I thought as well.

Either way, there is 0% chance I ever drink this. BMC won't get any of my money.

I drink a lot of beer. I drink a lot of different beers, but if there's one that's always at my house, it's Bud-Light.

My wife bought the platinum for me. Bonus for her.

Anyway, I do not like it that much. I mean, it's better than any other domestic light, and almost as good as Bud regular, but I doubt I ever get another 6er. If this Bud Light mass consumer does not care for it much, I don't see it surviving. Especially with the high alcohol. If anything, they need more low alcohol ones. I can drink more without talikng an involuntary break from the action.

You're definitely not the target audience, P. Me either.

Tried this out tonight and remembered this thread. Reallyyy enjoyed this beer just in terms of a light. Kind of a wheaty taste but pretty smooth.
