As a fan of the color blue, I felt it necessary to try it. I was not impressed.

I'll give it a shot, but it's hard to beat BUD for domestic 'drinking' beers.

If you are a BUD man, you probably won't like it to be honest. I like most all beers, and I prefer BUD over Bud Light. This beer does not taste like BUD... well, maybe a light, wheat BUD... frick it, no, it does not taste like BUD.

I'm a BUD pounder guy when it is getting serious. Shout out to PPEEEJJJJ!!

C'mon. It's obvious that that is Exactly their strategy. Look at the signs. Name-"platinum" (who do we know that is extremely fond of platinum?) Clear, sapphire bottle- designed to be seen, sets itself apart from other beers. (flashy, "bling-bling" Marketed as a luxury product (high dollar =high value=exclusivity. Think crystal, Hennessy, hypnotiq etc.) now, if some rapper mentions it in a rap, then...
it is black history month

I don't think it's anything like PBR.

I didn't dislike it, but it's not something I'd order at a bar, or really want to drink more than one of at a time.

Here in FL I've seen billboards on I 95 advertising to tour the Budweiser brewery.

"Come see how our shitty, completely uninteresting beer is made!"

Bud Light Platinum is targeting the Coors Light drinker. It's made for the younger generation of beer drinkers. It's just a high powered Bud Light. The bottle gets attention first. It is a smooth easy drinking beer that goes down easy. Not attempting to tap into the craft beer category. Either way it's flying off the shelves right now and I've gotten a ton of great reviews so far. It's only been in the market for 9 days and I've sold over 100 cases in my area. Over 1000 in Cenla.

That is weird. I thought that was the market Bud Light was competing in/ for.

Frankly, I just read that speculation on many online sources regarding the beer's release, which is why I said "allegedly." I guess I am the only one that uses the word allegedly because everyone avoided it or quoted around it.
