He also has at least 5 bottles of pappy on the bottom shelf, and two open bottles on the 3rd shelf - the Rye and the 20 Year. Jesus. This guy could be a serial killer and I would still want to be his friend.

I don't even know the guy and I feel like we're already friends.

Idk that I've ever seen that much booze in a private stash. Wine, yes, booze, no. Wow.

How does someone that has enough money to have that kind of liquor collection rent and not own?

I personnaly know a petroleum eng who has been renting for the past 20 years. No wife/ 1 kid out the house. Some people prefer to rent.

ok, either he works at a liqueur store or has a very good relationship with the owner of the store. Nobody just has that much Pappy Van Winkle.

Gaston-where does your br-in-law recommend in BR for a good rum selection? I've been to the Cove and Turtle bar at Hoummas House, any other suggestions? TIA

He just graduated Law school. I thought maybe he had a friend or relative in the liquor biz. I emailed him that we had fixed the heater and not to worry about the missing bottle of pappy. He invited me over for a drink. I'll grill him then.

shite, if some of that's been around for a while, it's likely Stitzel Weller stock and the best of the best.
