Juneau's has the best cracklins I've tried.

The daily plate lunches are good and the tasso is special.

Damon is a CoonAss from Avoyelles Parish, can’t help but be good people. Good cracklin’, sausage, meats, boudin. Give them a try…

When, though? It has been in process a looong time. I pass there every couple of weeks and am waiting impatiently for cracklings.

Know Damon personally. As said above, great people. I could eat their cracklins till I pop. The boudin balls are special also. My wife gets the smoked boudin to stuff a large beef roast with......unreal how good.

Their smoked boudin is my second favorite boudin after Mr Ts in Elton.
I have about 10 lbs of it in my freezer as we speak and I always stop there on the rare occasion that I am in marksville.

Stopped at the one in Marksville a couple months ago and got some boudin, cracklins, and greards. Good stuff. Greards make a killer gravy over rice.

I thought the radio ad I heard yesterday said they were open.

I came through there Thursday and they did not appear to be. Will be back by Saturday. Hoping for cracklins!

People are always talking about the meat places around Lafayette, which are good. But Avoyelles has a very traditional take on meats also and Juneau's is at the top.

They have good fried ribs too.

Their plate lunches are great, gf loves their ribeye poboy that they sell and I stay stopping in for their boudin. One of the few places that'll occasionally sell frozen deer sausage as well.
Their deer jerky is by far the best jerky you'll find for sale, typical jerky prices tho

Sorry for the picture quality, basically says all inspections passed, should be open soon.

They opened today and it was worth the wait, those cracklins are on a different level. They should do well in Washington Parish.

Is this the place in Erwinville? Is that one as good as y’all are saying? I pass it a lot on 190 but usually stop at kartchner’s.
