The comments on the Nola.com articles on Facebook are painful.

Backwoods looking idiots: "My husband went to the soft opening and said it was gross!!!"

or: "Is this place fancy smancy? We need authentic Mexican"

or: "I'll have to judge the salsa to decide if it's worth a crap"

*sigh*

It wasn't Cuco's, so it sucks. Lol...

I can't wait to try the place.

A friend of mine went last night, he said it was great. He even had the fried grasshoppers and liked them

It was easy enough for you, I guess.

Yep, you will see some nimrods posting here and there that the chips and salsa weren't free and they weren't offering a 2 for 1 margerita deal so they didn't plan on going back.

The salsa was great. The goat taco was decent (probably wouldn't get again), but the snapper taco and pork belly taco stole the show. The jalepeno vinaigrette on the beer battered snapper was amazing. The heat went really well with the avocado and the fish, and the pineapple was a delicious touch with the pork bellies. Get the fried crickets. They added a great texture and saltiness to the guacamole. The bone marrow with the sopes was also surprisingly good.
