Jeep crashes into Dat Dog courtyard on Freret Street

It think the most worrying part about this crash was that this dude clipped a fire hydrant and there wasn't water shooting 15 feet in the air.

The closest fire hydrant is on the other side of the street.
How did it even end up there?
There was low water pressure in that area the same morning so maybe it was spraying out.
Also Dat Dog took down the picture of all the whippets/poppers on the ground.

The driver was distracted trying to wave at another jeep and his rubber duck on his dashboard started to slide, causing him to swerve.

Was going fast in reverse down Freret then cut hard and the back of the jeep went into the restaurant
