Website and Facebook page still say "Coming Soon", so I guess they haven't opened yet.

Article n the paper said they would be open by October 1.... evidently hit some snags.
Hope they open soon and its good, BR needs a good shrimp poboy ... been missing since Jason closed Off the Hook.

I’ll say this, Eliza makes delicious poboys. Had an oyster one a few days ago and it was top notch. Looking forward to BR having a legit place to get authentic and interesting poboys.

I must have had a bad one. Bread to oyster ratio was way off. Didnt have nearly enough oysters.
I like Eliza and eat there pretty regularly but wasnt impressed with the poboy.

I’ve never seen one thing open up in BR on time. And very rarely by the second revised date. What a messed up city government

Don't know what to tell y'all. My wife and I go often and the poboys I've seen and ordered all looked and were top notch.

In case y'all missed it. They are opening on Friday

Jed’s Local, a po-boy restaurant that will also serve sandwiches, salads and daily plate lunch specials, is opening Friday in the 2,000-square-foot space on Jefferson Highway previously occupied by M.J.’s Café. The restaurant will be the second for chef Russell Davis, who will split his time between Jed’s and Eliza Restaurant and Bar, the upscale Creole bistro he opened in 2016 near Bocage. Jed’s is the latest of several new eateries flocking to the popular Mid City corridor

Friend from work went Friday. He said it was good. According to Twitter, they were out of bread Saturday night, which shows they were busy. I'll give them a little while longer before I try them.

They ran out of bread because their bread to meat ratio is too damn high.

It's a bit out of the way for some but Jasmine's on the Bayou has some legit poboys imo

Menu looks decent, but I have to admit I'm hoping they go the route of Pop's Poboys in Lafayette and make really unique speciality ones. Even if they're just daily specials.

Went today. Poboy was great, except the price. A 10" oyster poboy and small crinkle cut fries was $22.
Only criticism is that for $22, that bitch better be overstuffed. I say mine was "adequately" stuffed. A few more oysters would have made the price bearable, and I'm not one to be bother with prices unless I'm shocked. I was shocked when the cashier told me the total. (yes the prices are on the menu, but I didn't look and I can afford it).
