Had a great sandwich from Jason's Deli today. I've been waiting for one to open up close to the New Orleans area since the nearest one was in Baton Rouge. Didn't even know it was there until I was driving down and saw it out of the corner of my eye. Just wanted to get the word out.

The Podnuh is a sliced brisket, and cheese stuffed baked potato. They actually take two potatoes, slice the ends off, and jam em together to make one monster of a baked potato. So good.

Jason's Deli is fine, but I can't imagine being boned up for a chain sandwhich place, especially in New Orleans

Jason’s is great for a traveling salesman like me

It’s my go to lunch spot. I can eat healthy or order a massive potato or sandwich

I don't dislike Jason's but there's one maybe two miles from my office and I eat there about twice per year. The Santa Fe chicken sandwich is usually my go to.

Double meat it, and it's very similar to the Carnegie Deli Reuben.

Why would a chain sandwich joint open in a city that is at the least in the top ten cities in the country to get a real deli style sandwich?

Jason’s is totally meh, but NO isn’t really known for deli style sandwiches. Stein’s and...?
