Yeah. We'll see how many people participate. We may need to try a different system in the future to keep ingredients more mainstream, but we'll see.

The link Gris Gris provided in the nomination thread explained how the Food Network staff chooses theirs. It was a very good read. It doesn't mean they should be easy. I would bet you could choose velveeta, cream of mushroom soup, and hamburger, then throw in a curve that would make that list a challenge.

I can only answer for myself. I already have a few ideas of my own. I would like to maintain my objectivity. For this one, it will be how well I can execute my plan.

I don't know that my ideas are fabuloso. Someone else may have come up with them. I'll watch and see, but if anyone is having trouble, I'll be glad to offer some ideas to consider unless that's against the rules. Don't want to break any. I think a couple entered the last contest which is why I thought it might be okay.

So, were you planning on tasting this dish? Otherwise it doesn't matter. When judging I imagine they have to assume how the flavors presented would go together. If you say Tequila is in the dish that's all that is needed.
