I lose anyone when step one is "boil meat".

Especially when its boil the chicken that has already been baked....then use that "broth". How much flavor can broth made with already baked chicken make?
I start with raw chicken that I simmer with seasoning and use the broth as my liquid. Jambalaya from scratch is not hard to make. Use a mix when you are in a hurry but otherwise do it the old fashioned way. The taste is far superior. And the sodium content is not through the roof.

Mary Ann adds a fresh voice to the show to compliment Tom’s expertises.
Tom's expertise is restaurants from the 70's through early 2000's.
He's great at New Orleans restaurant history.
He ran off the tracks around 2010.
The best thing he could do is get someone young to cohost the show and bring in a fresh voice with some knowledge of the new food scene.

When my Dad suddenly decided to start cooking in his mid-80’s I told him to get some Veron’s mild and a package of Oak Grove mix. Better than acceptable. Tried Tony’s once and didn’t care for it.

I like to use fresh Trinity and throw in some zatarains mix when it's time to add rice.
Yesterday I made some and I used precooked pork belly instead of raw pork and it came out delicious.

You are either Tom Fitzmorris
His wife
His son
or his daughter
Because you defend him regardless of what is said and always have.

I am not defending Tom I make jambalaya from scratch and its damn good. But if in a hurry I also make oak grove in our rice pot with any kind of left over smokey meat its not home made but quick and eatable

Toms voice on his commercials running on WWL sounds very weak and tinny. I feel bad for the guy.

Was there ever an explanation given for why Mary Ann started co-hosting? Obviously it’s because Tom is no longer capable of doing it on his own, but MA makes the show even worse than Tom’s incoherent ramblings. She has the palate of a 12 year old with an eating disorder—the type of person who would list Bravo! as one of the top Italian joints in the area and wouldn’t be caught dead in a place like N7.
The way she condescends to and patronises Tom like a scolding mother on air is offensive.

Which one of you is holding the sign on Gameday that says," Dan Mullen likes box jambalaya"?
