I have to go to BR on business tomorrow and plan to stop here on the way back. Anything besides andouille to get?

I really like their tasso. Very smokey and cooks down nice and tender in dishes.

they will charge extra for vacuum sealing. apparently wayne jacobs down the road does not.

My favorite is Bailey's and it's just a few yards away. You should try their andouille. And their hogshead cheese and boudin may not be the best you may ever find in Cajun country, but very solid and better than grocery store stuff. The tasso is top notch.

Some of you seem to be pretty pissed about this extra charge. How much is it?

I was trying to zip off i10 and get back on, but it sounds like there are more options than I was aware of.

Any from that town is excellent, but I think I like Jacob's best.

Grab you an ice cream at the Mcdonald's in Laplace. They are known worldwide for their ice cream.

Wayne Jacobs is the best of the 3, between Jacob's, wayne jacob's, and baileys.

Wayne Jacobs is a much better choice.

Hopefully since they canned Nick order and cleanliness has been restored.

Bailey's is just across the parking lot from Jacobs. You could throw a link of boudin from Jacobs and hit Bailey's. If you go to Jacobs stop in at Bailey's and get some at least to compare. Bailey's is my favorite though. Can't beat their tasso.
