Seriously?
That's at least 1500 calories.

I'm 5'10 150 and run every day
Do 7-8 miles per day so I need calories. I eat clean 80% of the time but every blue moon I go all out like that
When I know I'm doing a big meal out I practice intermittent fasting where you eat less than 500 calories in first 18 hours of the day and then I eat that 1,500 calorie 4 piece from popeyes(or whatever "cheat meal" I want) and still have only eaten 2,000 calories. My normal maintenance calories is around 3,000 a day so I usually have room for a blizzard. Lol
It takes practice but now I don't know any better. It's like having your cake and eating it too.
Don't it regularly just like said special occasions

Hats off to Izzo's executives; cliffs from their reply to my complaint -
The new container is more eco-friendly and more compostable. It is made of bagasee which is the remains of sugar cane after it has been crushed to extract the juice. It actually holds the same liquid volume as the old container. I apologize if you felt the portion was smaller but the bowl and salad portions remain identical to what they were and have always been.
follow up from Izzo's-
,send me your address. Id love to send you a Be Our Guest card to get you back in. We have been working with each staff on maximizing the portions on bowls/salads. Id love to see if you find any improvements on your next visit and will gladly pay for the meal. Please get back to me. Thanks.

Place must be a hole in the wall, owners born and raised in Mexico, and authentic not that TexMex shite for TigerWise to approve.

Fella that owns & started Izzos lives in Baton Rouge. That's pretty local to me. And it's as fresh as any of those places can be, to each his own tho.... It ain't "crap."

Subway is god awful. I haven't eaten there in years. I don't mind izzos, though we don't have them around us.

I've been to Izzo's once and it was in BR after a game. I thought it was the Mexican version of subway.

Why would anyone eat Izzo's where you live ?

The one on Magazine is much, much better. Crew brought in from El Paso.

You said earlier that you'd rather go to a local poboy place than jimmy johns, but they are both roughly the same concept of a fast food place. You go to the poboy place because the food is better quality and tastes better, no? The same can be said about izzos. It's a similar concept as subway, but the food is actually prepared, cooked that day and the quality is much better.
I hope that was easy enough for you to understand.

Freebirds would kill it in BR or NO. Can't believe Shreveport got one.

Yes, better value and I'm putting money directly back into my community.

This is where we disagree.

So you are saying the quality of izzo's food = the quality of subway? If you don't like the taste, that's fine, but you can't honestly expect to be taken seriously if you think this is true.
Izzo's is a local LA establishment, as someone else said. Are you ignoring that or just simply trolling? Or are you saying you'd rather only put money into New Orleans establishments and no other nearby cities?
