But I think it's crap. I think Theo's is crap too and that's a New Orleans establishment. When it's comes to tacos and burritos I have options that are better.

And what a terrible opinion it is.

Following the Cane's model I see. Except Cane's raises prices while serving smaller portions.

But when you make a generic statement like "It's overpriced crap", you need to be able to back it up. Just because YOU don't like the taste of something, doesn't make it "overpriced crap." I don't really care for pâté, but I won't say it's "overpriced crap" because that's not true, and it has nothing to do with my opinion about the taste of the dish.
Now this all sounds like a disagreement based on semantics. Just try to understand the context of what you post before posting.

I'm sorry you are so mad about my comments. Maybe you should step away from the computer for a little while and go roll some burritos.
I'll take back my comment about overpriced but I still think the food is crap. And I think they skimp on the proteins. I'm sure you will agree with me down the road when they relocate to Dallas.

Ever consider the possibility that the quality of the product demands a higher price? They will certainly add more proteins for a price. I do it often.
Izzos paying taxes and employees while providing higher quality ingredients does not equal fat burritos/tacos at the joint where no one speaks English and they take cash only.
You, of all people, should acknowledge this. It's exactly why you knight other establishments.
Izzos ingredianets/prep is in no way similar to Moes, Juans, or Chipotle. They package a lot of their products and ship to stores. Izzos is made in house.
I cannot comment on Freebirds, but I do prefer Izzos.
Re:Dallas. Funny. Owner of Izzos is from Texas and moved to Baton Rouge. Owner of Canes is from Baton Rouge and moved operations to Dallas. I suspect they don't go back unless the whole deal is sold.

In my experience at the BR Burbank location, they have been skimping on the meat for years. Every once in awhile you get a random employee that piles it on. It feels a little awkward asking for more meat right off the bat. Im basically asking them not to be cheap.
Unless you get plenty of the non-meat ingredients, the burritos can be on the small side with the ingredients. I get most of the options so a small amount of meat isnt that big of a deal.
I like Izzos and get cravings for it often. It feels like a burrito I can eat and not feel like a useless slob after like when I eat a dirty mexican burrito.

I enjoy eating at Izzo's from time to time but find my portions always vary greatly. I use to think it directly correlated with the size of the employees hands that is making my food but lately its been the opposite.
