IP Chili Recipe

I've made this chili recipe several times and it is the best I've made/tasted.

and I'm sure there's lots of hate for the IP, but for this, it is incredible.

I love my IP and it's my second most-used kitchen gadget, so thank you for this!

this recipe does tend to burn easily. It's happened about 2-3 times to me so I double the beef stock that it calls for.

That string was from back in the day, when you could say what you thought, and folks didn't have serial downvoters.

I'm sure there is a similar gumbo string, somewhere.

Making Texas red Chilli tomorrow. Using Ancho and Guajillo peppers. Smoking a Chuck roast for a few hours first. Basically following Meat Church recipe.

One trick I learned on this board a while back is to throw a hershey's chocolate bar into it. While it sounds weird, it really works.

I tried that this weekend after reading this thread. It’s damn good and I’ll be doing it from now on in place of the usual brown sugar I put in there.

Yep, that's what I use for my chili powder addition.

Probably sacrilege, but if you find yourself needing to make a "vegetarian chili" then use Emeril's recipe. It's really solid.

Crockpot Chili

This is the best chili I have ever cooked.

I darted out of here at lunch to get the stuff to set this up. I did not follow exactly on the tomatoes and beans. Looked a little dry as I was leaving, so I added one can of water. Fingers crossed!
