A friend brought some over on Good Friday and I'm like you...don't care for chocolate but that shite is ridiculously good.

It is public record (FDA 483) that Bluebell knowingly released product that far exceeded regulatory standards. These assholes should have been prosecuted just like the peanut butter executives years ago.
They go on to kill people because of this blantant disregard for food safety, among other things.
The arrogance of their first press release after the recall starts with something like, "in the last 100yrs we have never had a recall blah blah blah"
I'm sure the families of the people you killed were relieved by that statement.
Pages 4 and 5 clearly show finished product released after testing beyond acceptable levels. I won't even get into the numerous other contamination violations that were noted on multiple inspections, all public record. frick them.

I haven't bought Blue Bell some I moved to Alabama. They grocery store next to my house sells Old Dutch Creamery ice cream. That shite is unbelievably good.
But I'm try to drop a few pounds, so I'm trying to stay away.

It's pretty much chocolate ice cream with Reese's chunks in it... and they don't skimp out on the Reese's.

We had about 20 people over at Easter and we didn't finish any of the flavors.
I was the only one of the group who could be considered overweight.

Blue Bell is popular because it's a good ice cream, offered in a variety of flavors, readily available at most markets for a reasonable price.

I hope the chocolate peanut butter cookie dough lasts. I want to try it so bad but can't commit to a 1/2 gal right now, for fear of my diet being completely destroyed for a while
