Canes
I mean it just flat out sucks without the sauce and it's definitely not worth the price.

It's hyped up, yes. But it's still good. It's a fast food burger place. It's good for what it is.

Philly Cheesesteak is the most overrated food item in the world. Very, very underwhelming. It's not bad food, but everyone on tv jerks themselves off about them, and I've never been impressed. Let me pre-emptively tell you I don't need to go to Philadelphia and have one before I validate my opinion. We have good bread here and I've seen the movie. It's just not that great. The sandwich that is. Great movie.

Every sandwich looks like someone stepped on it before serving.

I grew up only getting to go to CFA when we would go to the Cortana Mall, as they didn't have standalones. I grew up in a family where you kinda just ate whatever Mom and Dad said to get, so all we ever had was the nuggets.

It wasn't until I got to LSU that I realized they had other things, and even then, I stuck to nuggets. All I ever knew. Little side of Polynesian dipper.

Imagine my surprise when I stop at one on a road trip and decide to try the sandwich. Had no menu in front of me.. ordered with the kid out in the lot with a handheld. Those suckers come with NOTHING ON THEM! I imagined surely it would be like any chicken sandwich with some sort of mayo or honey mustard or even a spicy sauce.

I've since learned about deluxe that actually has toppings on it, but even that doesn't have sauces without you asking for them, and then I guess opening it up and dressing it yourself.

Wild to me they got so popular that people block highways.. serving a plain sandwich.

Same for me except it was the LSU 2000 Peach Bowl, and probably ate 4-5 sandwiches throughout the game.

I'm totally confused by the soggy fry guys ? Should we not boil mashed potatoes and eat them crunchy ?

Chik fil A is definitely in the discussion. Overpriced bland chicken, and their commercials suck.

Service is almost always excellent though. One positive.
