yes. i think the big chains sometimes get a little more shite than they deserve, but BWW is truly awful. and EXPENSIVE.

Thread inspired some of us to eat there for lunch today. Wings were hot and large. Tots were great. 10 wings, side, and a drink for $12 is hard to beat.
Not sure what happened, but the Gonzales location must have gotten their act together.

ah yes..this thread again.
If you want a lot of TV's and a large beer selection in a town without many sports bars...and also food at some point BWW is awesome.
If you go to BWW looking for culinary experience, you're going to be disappointed

yes..this thread again.
Did a search. Nothing. But the search function on this site is horrible.
To others, yes it is expensive at dinner. $18 for 6 wings and 6 boneless. Wings are up I get it.
As for looking for a culinary experience? Not in the least. But it was bad.

We went last weekend because my son wanted to watch the UFC fight. The food was worse than the main event.
I like Pluckers but their prices are insane right now

BWW’s entire business model is based on out of towners wanting to watch sports
The food is an afterthought

Their 3rd store in Columbus on Bethel Rd. still has the old bw-3 sign on the back of the building.

Their food has always been terrible frozen/microwaved crap.
Unless they have changed since I last was forced in there, about 5 years ago.

Seriously? Five years ago? My first visit was in January of 1985 when they had one store. Both their first and second stores are long gone. Their third store is still in operation but the original owners sold the business a long time ago. It was still pretty good after they went corporate but the slow erosion of quality sacrificed in favor of profit took its toll like it does with so many businesses. Maybe they’ve always been terrible in your experience but your experience is that of a child. There was a time when they were great. Maybe you weren’t born yet.

It depends on the location and the employees.
I've been to a couple of good ones and a couple of flat out god-awful ones.
Best ones were in Madison, WI, and Orlando near Universal.
Worst one was in... you guessed... Atlanta.
You can deduce the differences for yourself.

That's no longer the case and its 2022, gramps. But you are correct, I was 6 in '85 and BWW didn't come to BR until it was a big corporation with crap food.
I went when the location on Bluebonnet opened (the last time I've been was around 5 years ago, brush up on your reading comprehension) and it was microwaved grossness then, and it didn't change over the few times I've been over the years its been there.

No matter what, get the wings well done. I’ve always been a fan of the Caribbean jerk, and the mango habanero. I’ve consistently seen shitty service at BWW, no matter the location.

It's perfect, if you are the type of guy who calls everyone brah, wears a backward ball cap while inside and a football jersey to a funeral.
