Know it's random but for anyone who hasn't made a batch, it's legit. As easy as can be, cheap and as tasty as anything you can buy in a store.

I sometimes add condensed milk to it for sweetness but the straight 10 hour plain tart is perfect. Do about 32oz at a time and divide into 6oz containers and fridge. Add whatever you want like blueberries, granola and honey, you name it. Great breakfast on the go.

My wife (no pics) just got one of these beasts for Christmas and is a bit intimidated by it. Any tips or good recipes you can share?

Is it the base instapot, or the Duo Crisp pressure cooker + airfryer?

Tell her to start with the Food Network app. She can practice on several easy but good recipes on the Pressure Cooker tab.

Tons of great YT channels as well. She still love it as a tool. As will you.

Know if it can be made with powdered milk?

Honestly not sure. The milk needs to be pasteurized for sure. Then the normal yogurt culture added. After a batch, you just take a cup and freeze for the next batch as the culture.

I didn't realize a sous vide could be used to make yogurt. Being that I spend a small fortune on Oui yogurt every week, I may have to give this a shot.

Why? And that's not being A$$ question.

I have an Instant Pot and hear people making yogurt all the time. I'm tempted but keep asking myself why. It's so cheap already. I get 6 Fage Greek delivered every Saturday with the groceries.

What is it about an Instant Pot Yogurt that is better that will make it worth the effort?

It's actually really good because you can incubate at a precise temp. I usually just do it in some jars

Lol, hardly. Fage was for reference of what type I like. Grocery delivery is $100 a year so cheaper than the gas and headache it takes every week.

It WAS an honest question about what’s the advantage.

Mrs Vox uses Fairlife Ultra Pasteurized for hers, and it's awesome.

A Greek Yogurt strainer is the way to go, when it comes to separating the whey.
