Hello Tigers!
I am a Georgia fan living in Atlanta. I made the trip to Baton Rouge last year for the game, and despite the outcome, had a wonderful time tailgating with some Tigers I knew, ended up being invited into tailgates of people I didn't know, and sat with some great season ticket holders. We had a blast, and I'm hoping we can meet in Atlanta this December.
I read the Cajun vs. Creole article on The Athletic, and wanted to reach out and see if anyone could recommend or share some recipes to make some of these dishes at home. Jambalaya, gumbo, red beans and rice, and etouffee are my personal favorites. But I'd love to try a good sauce piquante as well. I'm also open to recipes not mentioned here.
We have a local butcher from Louisiana so getting specialty meats is not a major issue.
Thank you in advance for sharing! And good luck to the tigers the rest of the way.

One place you can look is the stickied post at the top of this page. There is a link to the tigerdroppings cookbook, with recipes compiled over the years.

Look through the recipe book thread at the top of this page. And, you can also do a “search” with key terms for the recipes you want. You’ll find some good recipes and discussions.

Jambalaya - Use the Jambalaya calculator
Etouffe - Plantation Cookbook (from recipe book on top of page)
Gumbo - Donald Link has some good recipes
Sauce Piquant - Look up Treedawgs recipe from the recipe book here
Red beans and Rice - They got some good ones in the recipe book. Pick one that looks good to you (I always modify mine and make my own version)

What’s up with the Jambalaya calculator? It’s off line! Anyone have a working link?
