Berger’s (sp?) is the best bacon I have eaten and that includes Wright’s.

No water, crisps up very well.

I noticed the great value is even thicker than Wright's and not in a good way. If you shop at Kroger they have two or three bacons that they sell in the meat case. Their black pepper bacon is great, especially on a BLT

It is good, but my Publix stopped carrying it for some reason.

I like the Hormel Black Label or the Smithfield Applewood Smoked.

I make my own bacon from time to time, using flavors I want, my wife is asking for some more. After hunting season I think i'll make a few batches again.

Albertson's used to have bulk Wright brand bacon in their butcher case that they would sell for $4/pound.

That was a steal.

Burgers' and Benton's are both better to us than Wright's.

Homemade is where it's at. The cost difference alone is enough to make it yourself.

Wright’s is the best they carry at Rouse’s. I really like Neuske’s too, but I can never find it.

Had some bacon on a salad at Rocca Pizza in BR that I think they make in house or get from a local market. Seems like it had the skin on. Was like a mix between bacon and cracklings. They was the best I’ve ever had.

If you’re in Houston pick up the bacon from B&B butcher on Washington. You’re welcome.

They're right up the road from us in Central MO, and yes, their stuff is fantastic (and not just their bacon):

We order Burgers' city ham occasionally, and it's great. but I don't care for their country ham.

Wright’s is really good store bought bacon.
Fathers County Hams is excellent if you like very heavily smoked flavor, extra salt and very little water.
The Williams Brothers Country Store in Philadelphia, MS has the best all around bacon IMO with very little water and a stronger, better flavor than Wright’s and not as salty as Father’s. I used to give some to my family but had to stop because they kept asking for more and more like a bunch of crackheads.

I like Wright's just fine and it is what we usually buy (because we like it and because it is cheaper at Sam's)

However, the Boy Scout truth is this - I have never had a piece of bacon (or two or three) I didn't like.

There, I have stated my opinion.

Here, Have a photo of some Wright's bacon for your trouble.
