I think the end is near for Sammy’s

I know the Central location has been closed for a minute.
I quit going to Highland because the service is shitty & I found the food to be lackluster.
Pville has always been a safe bet but some friends went today & said they have a very limited menu and some things listed on the menu weren’t even available to order.
I’ve also heard from multiple people about employee checks bouncing. I used to love Sammy’s, sad to see it die a long, slow death.

Seems to be a recurring topic on this board, but pretty much every night I pass the Prairieville location, the lot seems full from the Airline to Old Jefferson.
I just don't get all the talk of it's demise.

I tried to order from Prairieville location on Wednesday evening. Was told that they were not taking to-go orders. I'm sure they were busy with it being the day before Thanksgiving, but to-go orders would seem to be the easiest part of planning for a busy day. Just another odd occurrence given the other issues they seem to be experiencing.

Isn’t Sammy an investor in Creole Cabana? They were closed last Wednesday randomly.
Sammy was on the news last week saying the Central location was only filling their Thanksgiving orders and would be back open for regular business in mid-December.

Sammy's quality in Prairieville has never been good
It may not be Sammy's but a similar restaurant if they break away from the owners will make it there as it still draws a decent crowd.

I hope they close. They’re terrible now. I got a Togo order 2 years ago and they gave me a quote for an hour wait. So I get there an hour later and then had to wait an extra half hour for the food to come out. Half the food was cold and they messed up the order. I’m done with Sammy’s

Basically one dude was running the show. They fuked him and he left to open The Francis. The shite crew left is the problem. Were very close to selling whole thing to Wayne Stablier few months back I suspect he will eventually get it by default if he still wants it.

This despicable excuse for a woman, Kaneitra Johnson, certainly didn’t help bring any positive light to their business.
And this lying, piece of shite, race baiter, unemployed, living with his mother, failed elected official, car repossessed late paying credick clown, didn’t help either by telling of a story that was made up of lies and inconsistencies.
But at the end of the day, it sounds like the owner(s) of Sammy’s has made many poor choices, most recently for making news about not being able to pay his workers on time, and the downward spiral continues on.
