This fad is going to last about as long as vegan fast food. As soon as the BR yuppies run out of coupons it's CTD for TDB.

and thats what i think might happen. if tdb pulls the coupons, and they might do it eventually, they will see a huge drop off in business

I'm not sure where you've been, but every Churrascaria I've been to in ATL has been a subdued, upscale environment, not a fiesta environment.

Most of the Churrascarias in Atlanta regularly run specials through larger employers and other discount programs. I don't think the coupons will be running out.

guess that's the confusion of this place. it's in a really nice area, and it's got a nice set-up and look to it, but in the end it's a buffet

Hopefully Perkins Rowe isnt the next Cortana Mall. I have kinda gotten that feeling the last couple times I have ben with the clientel taht was walking around sightseeing.

i think the expensive boutiques and over priced chain restaurants will keep a certain "element" out of perkin's rowe. it will be over-run by the 28-35 yuppies probably forever

That might be offset by the movie theater. My kids had to quit going to the Rave at the MOL, after previously giving up on Cityplace, but they remarked the other night that Perkins Rowe seemed to be headed the same way. My oldest son said he thinks that in the end, that will keep all the condos/lofts from selling-have to admit the theater and the doctor's office building seem way out of place with the rest of the development.

yeah citiplace is like being in a war-zone in Dafur and the mall rave has so many "thugs" and teeny-boppers that it is annoying. the movie theater at the rowe is kind of cool. its got the old theater feel to it and many people don't even know is there. great for seeing a movie on an opening night and it not be packed.

like i said, i just don't see it turning into anything like cortana.

If you sign up for their e-club they will send you a 25% off coupon for any day but Saturday. You also enter in b-day and anniversary, and I suspect they send something for that too.

Armed with this coupon and Catman's, wife and mother in law had to go last Saturday Meal was good, but last time I pay full price!

I dont know went and saw Hulk there when it opened and there was not a place to sit. Management was horrible too they told us we were lying LITERALLY and said they would go find us some seats.. I told him to look.. He did and couldnt find a seat but said there may have been two apart (like I would want to watch a movie with my GF on the other side of the theatre) The place was also filthy.. Popcorn is always thrown on their red rug which stands out too. Plus they use the old projectors from Tinseltown instead of the new DLP projector systems which makes no sense for a new theatre.

We got a refund for that movie after we tracked down his boss. Then my GF was so furious she wrote the district manager and he said he would handle it and set her some free tickets and coupon for food so that was very good of him. We saw Iron Man on opening night there and the place was empty but they screwed up the reel 10 minutes into the movie and we had to watch the previews all over again. But it was forgivable because it was nice that nobody was there. But the next few trips including the Hulk one just seemed to go downhill.

only been once, but although the picture is not as awesome as dlp, when I went it was completely empty too, which is excellent compared to both Raves. Can we not get an upscale movie theater in this city that does not let in teenagers?
