So i have decided to revamp the look of my burger restaurant with some new artwork and this is the second mural we have painted on the wall in the dining room
Here it is
The younger generation and Facebook fans of my restaurant seem to love it but the older crowd of customers are giving me mixed reviews. Some customers even taking to yelp to express their disapproval. The last thing i want is to deter people from eating at my place.
I want your honest opinion. Should i consider painting over it with something more appealing?

Well this is the opposite wall. The before and after.
The top pic is what the walls looked like for 18 years
The bottom is the new mural in its place.
The point of revamping was updating the look since we changed names of the restaurant.

In my opinion you do what you need to do. If someone stops eating your burgers because of a mural, which depicts squirting ketchup and mustard in the mouth. Then the customers have more issues than a mural.
Cannot chase every issue a customer has if it has nothing to do with your food. It’s a mural.

Rotating murals would be cool if you can swing it financially. Might even do features with a local artist and offer to let them sell their work inside.

I would go eat there just because it has that mural on the wall. I like old people but they can be cheap as shite anyway.

I hear you. I think I’m gonna give it time and speak with customers throughout the day. If it really affects if they choose to come back or not I’ll have to change it to something tamer.
My next move was to put Jules and Vincent from pulp fiction eating burgers on a different wall, but since the dumb and dumber movie scene missed a lot of people i scrapped that idea.

Cyborg you are on the right track. Go with your gut. You should put a Kahuna burger on the menu.
