I need a savory dish that uses lemons ...

Church group in our Parish out here in Atlanta that meets twice a month always does a pot luck each meeting. There's always a "theme" for each pot luck ... whether it be the cuisine, the occasion, the type of dish ... whatever. The theme is chosen by whoever is hosting the meeting that week.
The couple hosting this week has chosen the theme to be "Iron Chef ... secret ingredient - LEMONS!"
Every other meeting the Wife and I have showed up with a dish that just blew their minds (even though it was some every day Louisiana grub and it wasn't a competition)... with a theme actually promoting a competitive vibe, we can't come in there half stepping.
But we got nuthin. Lemons, dude? WTF? It's obvious there's gonna be a sh!t ton of desserts, and somebody will try some lemon chicken ... and i'm sure someone will bake some fish with some lemon slices on it.
I need a savory entree that uses lemons as an ingredient, not just a garnish. What ya'll got?

Also, you can grill halved lemons. Not sure what protein you could use them with aside from chicken or fish.

I think shrimp pasta would work great.
You can also get split breasts with ribs, slice lemons place them under the the skin, then place some lemon pepper and more lemon spices over the chicken and bake them. Serve with lemon cream pasta with cherry tomatoes/garlic/basil or a pesto

Veal piccata never disappoints or
Chicken Piccata if crowd is too PC for veal.
Shrimp Scampi also leans heavily on lemons.

Veal Picata - but it might not work too well as a potluck type dish.

I use lemons in my BBQ shrimp as well ... thought about that after i posted this. That might be an option ... a nuclear option.

We do lemon pork chops and it is the easiest thing in the world. Also, you could make a ton of them for a respectable price.
Get thin breakfast chops and dust them with slap ya momma or Tony's. Then, sear them hot and fast just to brown them. Squeeze lemons on them to finish them. The lemon makes the seasoning sing. No kidding, probably my favorite dish that we cook often.
ETA: don't be fooled by the gravy. The gravy is terrible on rice. It is good to put a little on the chop but don't try to use it for anything else.

You likely have a fine recipe. What I do is in the Recipe Book above. It is very tasty.

Don't have a suggestion right now, but using lemon zest in many dishes is a winner.
ETA: chicken, veal, pork or shrimp piccata. I don't know if this needs to be make ahead or if you have financial constraints.

Going to be made ahead, but our house is 10 minutes from the church, tops.
No real financial constraints. We're not pinching pennies, but not trying to serve beef tenderloin either if you catch my drift.
