I keep almonds, pecans, and dried mangos on hand. I restock every 2 or 3 weeks. I'll grab a bag of chips every month or so.

Regular lays potato chips with french onion Heluva Good Dip. I only buy that every once in a while because if it's in the house it is getting crushed. My snacks are mainly walnuts, almonds, turkey pepperoni and fruit.

Three months ago I was a big junk food guy. Lays dill pickle chips always on the counter. Now I eat a spoon of peanut butter if I'm feeling crazy.

I used to have a one-a-day Debbie cake habit (particularly fudge rounds), but I cut all of that out a few years back. Now, I rarely snack between meals. However, when I do, it’s usually with:
Chips (I buy a bag probably once every 2 or 3 months).
Wheat thins + cream cheese
Fruit (usually grapes, watermelon, strawberries, or blueberries depending on the season)
Cinnamon rolls (I will, once every few months, buy a tin of pre-baked cinnamon rolls from Rouses or Albertsons).
Chocolate chip cookies (a couple times a year I’ll bake cookies or buy a pack of them from a grocery store bakery).
Wal-mart thin mint dupes: probably buy a box once a year.

We always have something in the pantry, but neither of us actually eat snack food unless we come home intoxicated and hungry.
I've never been one of those people who can't have it in the house at risk I'd eat it all. I'll have chips pass their expiration date without being opened sometimes.

How much of a junk food person are you and what kind do you throw in the shopping cart every week?
I’m a huge junk food person, so the answer to your original question is that I never buy it because I know I’d just smash it
I’ll occasionally buy tortilla chips for salsa, but that’s about the extent of it.
If I were to buy Zapps or Doritos I know I would eat an unhealthy level of it, so I don’t buy it. Same with soft drinks. I don’t know that I’ve ever bought a 12 pack of Cokes, because I know if I have access to it I’ll just drink it too often.

This thread is making me feel fat.
Three kids and we go shopping about once every two weeks. For snacks, we typically buy lots of fruit, a box of goldfish, one family size bag of chips (switch up the types, but usually tortilla chips or BBQ lays), cheese and crackers, Greek yogurt, pirates' booty, and usually one cookie or chocolate snack.

Here and there but not consistently.

I’m trying to cut back on buying chips and snacks, but I’m a sucker for marketing gimmicks and every time I see a new flavors, I like to try it.
