Is the drink included in the $14.95 lunch buffet?

Anything stand out? Recommendations

I figure it’s cheaper to go here than go to Taco Bell and only get 4 supreme double deckers for $17 and change

Very good for a buffet, but I can't go anymore because I can't help myself from over eating and feeling like crap afterwards. Especially for work day lunch.

Tbh, I wasn’t impressed when I ate there at lunch, but the buffet at dinner was absolutely awesome.

Kind of opposite for me and in speaking to buffets in general If I am gonna hit one I always find they are best when they are busiest which is usually around lunch. The constant rotation of fresh food on the hot line is the difference.

I love it. I'll upload some pics later.

Well unless this is a lunch option today I say go for it. You can trust me

Like many buffets, the items and price differ by the time of day. The dinner buffet is more expensive, but I found the quality of the items offered on the buffet to be noticeably higher.

So the food has been good but I just got behind some old lady in line and instead on taking the whole enchilada and Chile releno and putting it on her plate she breaks them into half and leaves the other half in the tray at the buffet. She like added one of everything to her plate. Like one shrimp . One piece of grilled chicken strip. There was like a soup type dish and a she scooped out one potato

One of my earliest memories of moving to BR for college in the summer of 2004:

My roommate and I are at the corner of Perkins and Siegen and this young obese girl is advertising the opening of El Magey with a sign and wearing the biggest serape and sombrero I've ever seen in 100 degree heat. She looked miserable and ridiculous

I have not been to El Magey in a long time but, after reading this thread, will definitely go back.

Buffets are so yesterday
Not to mention the odds of getting sick are pretty high.
Even Las Vegas and all the casinos are trending away from them.
The best were the Chinese ones but not many of those are left either.

Las Vegas is known for its extravagant buffets. They are not shifting from that anytime soon with some of them charging 50-80pp.

Also, as much as I think buffets are inherently gross, I have never been sick after eating at one. I just don't think about all the possibilities of contamination from other people when I'm busy being able to barely breathe.

Closest to Panchos we have. Especially the Chile rellenos.

Forgot it was Valentines day one year and could not find anywhere to eat that was not packed. Popped in there and dined with many medical professionals in scrubs. It is a hilarious memory.
Not a huge fan of buffets butwould certainly eat this above taco bell for the same price.

Can someone just permaban you? You’re a terrible poster.

El Magey is legit for a Mexican buffet. It’s a much better version of Panchos.

You can tell it’s authentic because every car in the parking lot has a ladder strapped to it
