No crackers at all. Just dip in made up sauce...lemon, crystal hot sauce, dab of horseradish, and maybe a small squeeze of ketchup.

If they're briny and cold, I don't put anything on them. If they're not so tasty, I'll dip in cocktail sauce.
The only ways I like oysters are raw and charbroiled.

When raw I prefer a mignonette sauce.
Yep. Agreed.
Although occasionally I like the table made horseradish/ketchup/lemon sauce for a couple of them.

On a cracker with tiger sauce

That's pretty much how I like them.
I've had a number of different types of oysters now that "exotic" oysters have become a bit of a fad but I keep coming back to our gulf oysters. Some of the Pacific varieties might be better but GOM oysters are nearly as good and dirt cheap in comparison. The key is cold and salty. From there, I like a dab of cocktail sauce, heavy on the horseradish, a generous squeeze of lemon, dash of hot sauce, and just a piece of cracker, like 1/4 of a saltine.
This makes me really want a couple dozen gulf oysters. It'd be great if we could fast forward to October too, this heat is for the birds and that's when our oysters are best...

Red wine vinaigrette, a dab of horseradish, and a squeeze of lemon. You can TRUELY taste the oysters.

Charbroiled in garlic and butter

If you are eating the right kind, it would be a crime to put anything on them.
There have been some great developments in oyster harvesting recently, and as you can expect, LSU grads are leading the charge.

Farm raised oysters in Alabama are delicious! LSU and Auburn sea labs are putting out some outstanding product. I'm hooked
