How do you cook your breakfast bacon? What pan do like? Always frustrating trying to cook strips of anything in a circular pan.

4 pieces of bacon cut in half in a 12 inch cast iron skillet. Put them in the cold pan, turn the heat on low, and cook for about 10 minutes on each side. Keeps the bacon from curling at all and come out straight and crispy as hell.
Alternatively, use my gargantuan bacon press and crank that bad boy up to high. Straight crispy bacon in under 5 minutes.

Oven, 400 degrees about 18-20 minutes, depending upon how cooked you like it. Perfect every time.

Commercial baking sheet with edges, line with parchment paper, bake at 400 until desired crispness.

What do you cook it on? The one time I tried oven bacon I ruined the baking sheet.

Great stuff. Looks like I need to get out the heavy pan.

Rimmed baking sheet covered with aluminum foil. Convection roast at 375F for about 20 minutes. (got a batch going now)
This method doesn't put much odors in the house and also produces perfectly clean bacon grease to be saved to fry the eggs, rub on potatoes prior to baking or other purposes.

Cover with paper towel and cook 75 seconds in the microwave. Perfect every time and no grease to deal with.

Um, isn't the whole point of bacon to wake your house up with the smell of bacon?
And what's this "just enough" grease concept? I want enough grease to throw the leftovers in my mason jar stock pile for the heavy duty cooking later on.
Did some of you grow up sheltered?

Thick cut applewood smoked bacon on a 18"x13" 19 guage wire in rim aluminum sheet pan with silicon mat liner. 350F for 30 minutes then 300F for 15-20 minutes. Crispy well-rendered bacon everytime.

I either bake it at 450 or microwave it

Not in my home. Don't get me wrong, I love the smell of bacon but don't want it lingering in the house all day.

Nope, you need reading comprehension instruction, obviously. I like the clean bacon grease made with the oven method not the "dirty" burnt grease produced when it is fried in a pan. Just my preference.

Add enough water to coat the bottom of a frying pan, add bacon, cook until crispy. The water renders the fat before evaporating, so it doesn't pop and splatter as much.

oven, on a rack in a broiling pan...
I just discovered this method about a year ago. It is much more consistently perfect than in a skillet. I've walked away from a skillet too many times to forget and overcook/burn bacon. I don't like it overly crispy.
