Where are you seeing that? The comments from Hereford seemed vague to me like they knew the concept didn't work and they are going to have some of the dishes at their other restaurants here and there.
I liked Hot Stuff. I thought it was good, but never went regularly and I really didn't think it was going to last. Not surprised

wise kept me and my friends well fed all thru the 80s. Best bang for the buck in town. Second place was the roast beef poboy at A&P on prytania, you could eat on that beast for several days

Maybe they just mean in T&W at nighttime. That makes more sense. The post did say Mason & the other guy wanted to work in the same kitchen again and it would erase some of the overhead with rent.

I had the same issue with Hot Stuff. You get a third what you get at a place like Chickens Kitchen for a similar price

Just saw that he's opening a Turkey and the Wolf spinoff in Nashville where I now live which was shocking. I've always enjoyed my meals at the original but have never felt the need to go to his other places even when Hungry Eyes was only 2 blocks from our place uptown.
