Heading to the ranch this weekend and am wanting to chill out with some homemade margaritas.
What are y’all’s best on the rocks recipes?
Preferred brands for the tequila, triple sec, etc.
Any different ones too like Watermelon or Jalapeño?

2oz Blanco Tequila (Lalo has been our favorite recently)
1oz Fresh Lime Juice
1oz Grand Marnier
.5oz Mezcal (Del Maguey Vida)
1 barspoon agave nectar
Pour over ice in a shaker, shake vigorously then strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.

Equal amounts of beer, frozen limeade & tequila and then just mess around with it. Trashy af but it does the trick.

i'm an old fat guy so i'll get shite on but i've been drinking the hell out of some sugar free margs that are delicous.
- tequilla
- key lime juice
- tsp orange extract
- lacroix lime seltzer or just plain soda water or even sprite zero or fresca
- fresh lime slice
absolute perfection! i don't have a sweet tooth like i used to so i enjoy the more 'dry' taste of this and don't feel like i'm drinking koolaid. i've gotten to where its hard to drink those syrupy margs they serve at random mexican restaurants.
the only problem is they go down real easy so you have to be careful.

Try a paloma instead
2 oz tequila
2 oz ruby red grapefruit fresh
1.5 oz fresh lime
2 oz jarritos grapefruit soda or squirt soda
Pinch of salt
Great balanced drink. Not too sweet or too sour.

Anyone try Ranch Water?
How To Make Ranch Water
Fill a glass with ice. Add about three ounces (two shots) of blanco tequila and about an ounce and a half (a shot) of fresh lime juice. Top with Topo Chico. Garnish with a fresh lime wedge on the rim of the glass.

1 oz good tequila (I prefer Don Julio silver)
1 oz Grand Marnier
1 oz agave nectar
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of ½ lemon
Shake all in a Boston Shaker with ice until shaker frosts. Pour through a sieve or spring strainer to catch ice and pulp. Add fresh ice to rocks glass
Or double all of it and pour into an iced tea glass.
