Homebrewers, have you ever brewed a beer, and new that it was a great beer? I've brewed 13 batches so far. However, my second to last one, is far and away, the best one i've done. It is an IPA, and it was the first all-grain batch where i came up with the recipe myself. It's 50 IBU's and 6.6% ABV.

I'm usually hypercritical of all of my brews. I can always tell where it falls short, but this beer is, in my mind, one of the best IPA's i've ever had. It's not a hop bomb, but it is balanced incredibly well with the malt, and the citra puts it over the top. I did whirlpool hop my first wort hops, which were Warrior i believe.

I am down to only 14 - 12 oz. bottles, and 2 bombers left. I'll be sad when these are gone.

We'll be the judge of just how good it really is. Ship me a sixer and I will execute judgment swiftly

I am as well. I don't think any of mine have been great. Some have been good, but they could have been better.

Like you, I'm my own worst critic.

But I think my peanut butter chocolate stout is pretty damn good.

I've only shared a couple batches, and only one of them was a beer I'm really happy with. All three I shared with liked it, and B has a bottle to try too, and I look forward to his opinion

If I can figure out how to bottle from the keg this weekend, I'll get you some of my Simcoe pale ale.
