Did a hopbursted Mosiac session IPA. Approx. 4.2 % Also dry hopped with Mosiac. Half pound of Mosiac total in a 5 gallon batch. Ended up with a lot of stone fruit on the front that matched the malt which was Pale ale, Munich, and Caramel 60L. The back end is a arse ton of pine. I'm talking lick it off your teeth pine. I have a love/hate relationship with that much pine. Overall im happy and drinking the crap out of it.
Not a sour. No brett or lacto or pedio, so nobody cares.
Seriously, I need to make more session IPAs. I've only brewed one, and it turned out really solid. I do pale ales pretty often though, which are a nice compromise between IPA and session IPA for me.

So what's on everyone's Christmas list?
Last year, I got Mark's Keg Washer and I love it. It makes cleaning kegs and carboys effortless. I put it in the bathtub, add some hot PBW, come back 20-30 minutes later and its done. I use it very often and highly recommend it.
I also got The Last Straw bottle filler. It works pretty well for filling bottles, but it comes apart too easily. If I were looking into a bottle filler now, I would probably get the newer version of the Blichmann Beer Gun.

I don't really need anything brewing related, to be honest. Maybe about 2 pounds each of Galaxy and Citra.

My bottle filler works just fine.

I have the same, and mine doesn't. At least i don't trust it. It foams up way too bad. I lower the pressure to almost zero, refrigerate the filler tube and the bottles, and i still get too much foam.
Also, i'm bottling a sour, so i don't want to mess with that thing for 40+ pulls.

I assume you bleed the pressure first.
My growler filler works just fine without doing anything special other than dropping the pressure to 2-4psi after bleeding the keg. Rarely do more than a few bottles at a time though, mostly for competitions or to share with friends.

I'm waiting for my first infection. Once the inevitable happens then I'll use that equipment for my first sour.
I am wearing thin on the IPAs. Need to move onto some Pale Ales and I want to start working with Abby Ales.

I just don't enjoy sours enough to have 5 gallons on tap. They are a change of pace beer for me. I can drink goses all day long during the summer, but I cheated by just adding lactic acid to mine instead of kettle souring it. But brett just is hit or miss for me, and rarely not hit enough to warrant drinking a lot of it.

Haven't reached that point yet. Likely won't.

I have that and the attachment w/ a stopper...this
It works well but it took me a few uses to dial it in. You do need to lower the psi to below 5 and relieve the pressure in the keg.

got a source on that 2016 galaxy?
I called Yakima Valley and they said they sold out in under a week and are scrambling trying to get more in.

Good thing about Brett though, it changes over time. My first brett beer, i added to my French Benefits saison. I did not let the brett sit in the fermenter long enough, unfortunately. However, when it was in the keg, after about 3 weeks, the beer started changing in flavor and aroma. By the time i floated the keg (which didn't take long) the beer had transformed into something different, and something incredible.
I currently have a brett IPA in the keg that was loaded with citra hops. Once it hits it's prime i'll bottle some up and give you some.

I got a pound of it during that week. Should have bought a lot more.

For the record, LoneStarTiger's Citra IPA is fantastic.

So what's on everyone's brew radar?
I figured out to do with all that bootleg biology stuff i got.
1) Tomorrow, starting on my quick sour spruce gose using Bootleg's Sour Weapon, fermented with gigayeast brux blend.
2) Week after Christmas plan to brew twice if i have room. First brew will be either my coffee stout or try my hand a NE style IPA with some of the knowledge i've gathered via podcasts and web articles, etc...
3) The other brew will be a long aged mix ferm sour primary fermented with Wyeast Belgian Saison then split into 2 - 3 gallon fermenters and secondaried with Bootleg's funk weapon #1 and Funk Weapon #3. After a few weeks i'll pitch Bootleg's Sour Weapon (need to find another packet) to FW #1 batch and Omega's Lacto blend to FW #3 batch.
4) Next batch will be whatever i didn't brew in step 2, either a coffee stout or NE IPA. Sometime in January.
5) The next batch will be another long aged sour. I'll brew 6 gallons then rack to 2 - 3 gallon fermenters. I plan to pitch Bootlegs Solera blend in one, and some propped up wicked weed dregs in another.
Somewhere in the middle of all of this i need to bottle my long aged sour (probably around February) and have another batch ready to rack on top.
I've got a lot of work to do between now and then.

since I only have 1 or 2 in a night, I kinda prefer going back to 6% or so beers
