Ok. Yeah

I don't know why they wouldn't give a breakdown of the scoring. Seems to me if you've dotted all your i's and crossed your t's, shouldn't be an issue.

I agree. The results had to come from somewhere, so there really isn't a reason to not share the scores. If the scoring is based on appearance, tenderness, flavor, and overall impression then there should be some sort of number associated with each criteria. I'd imagine that teams would like to see those numbers to help them understand areas that they might need to improve on or leave alone, because it scored well.

Buy an admission ticket, then buy whatever food you want from any or all of the teams (food vendors). Not all you can eat, unless you buy as much as you can eat.

I'd advise going to the website and such if you know NOTHING about it instead of playing 20 questions. Probably easier for you anyway

most prices very reasonable. Most places were charging $2 per rib bone. Some 3 for $5, but also some 2 for $5.
$5-6 for pork sliders
$6 for order of cracklin
$6 for kabob sandwich

Some sample menus:

I dont get the scoresheets, I just get the final scores. Its one number which isnt broken down by flavor, appearance, etc...

To pull those scoresheets, match them up with thenblind number assigned, scan, disburse to a team, etc...is a lot more work than I am willing to do for a non sanctioned event. So I email teams that I ask their scores. We dont post them public so as not to have some a-hole start spouting off.

I can respect that. I'm assuming that you're either Rene, Becker, or Zandy. Y'all do a ton of work already.

How's the fan favorite decided? Booth with most customer food sales?

Can you publish that top 5 or 10?

Just curious. No spouting off from me. Only a first timer who really enjoyed the event and plan to get involved next year.
