Yeah man. When Bacon Rouge fell through I joined up with PBeard and some boys from Shreveport, Pork City BBQ. I got to submit our dish for Porkpourii. We had a hell of a time. Them Louisiana yankee boys could throw down

I approve both the team name, and rob as social media manager. We have our director of gaming the system in place too.

This is a good start.

link?

The CB brisket was really good. I had it ranked 3rd out of 13. I agree it would have been better if blind taste test by number, instead of seeing the names and ranking by name.

Bus and I had the same top 3. It wasn't a blind taste test and I think all competitors knew that beforehand. I think all food competitions should be blind.

nah, they were tables with the names of the competitor and the people slicing there in front of you with their team shirts on.

My damn strong top 5:
Deuce Pigalow (Barbosa BBQ)
Fox Bros
Company Burger
Blue Oak
Mississippi Bacon Association

Only one stood out as really bad. Team Pig Slayer (Cochon chefs?) That brisket was inedible. Like it was boiled or something. Maybe they did a sous vide and forget to torch it.

I hope CB keeps running this competition and keeps giving themselves the win. See how long until everyone catches on.

Would be one of the great running jokes.

Not blind? And they won their own contest? Didn't someone from the company burger team come on here earlier and say they were allowed to "gamble" with other teams' charity money with the winner getting that gambled money? Seems fair.

Not blind. Names were there. Judges got a scorecard with all the names of the competitors, and a spot to write in their choices for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Both Arse and I had Company Burger in top 3, so not like it was some shitty product that won.

Blind would be better of course, but not sure how they could have pulled that off unless they staged the food and the judges in separate tents.

Did they buy y'all off with Blueoak wings, like the Deichman's?

Good luck with that.
