Day old rice, eggs, frozen peas and carrots, onions, soy sauce, butter, sesame oil.

Get your wok hot. Add some oil, throw in peas, carrots and onions, Saute until soft. Move to the side, throw in a little more oil, put your scrambled eggs in. Cook them until done. Chopping them up as you go. Stir all that together. Throw in some butter. Add rice, salt and pepper. Stir all of this around for a couple of minutes. Add some sesame oil and soy sauce. Stir until everything is hot. Done. Takes about 5 minutes.

EDIT: Add minced garlic when the veggies are almost done.

Double edit to add approximate amounts: I make a large batch because it's great left over. I use around 8 cups of rice. One of those bags of frozen peas/carrots that you can steam in the microwave. I don't microwave it, but that's what I throw in the wok raw. 1/2 of a large onion diced. Probably 3 cloves of garlic. 3-4 eggs. 1/2 stick or more of butter. Maybe 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, and I drizzle soy sauce generously over the whole concoction probably a little over a 1/4 cup. It's very forgiving, so you can figure out what you like more or less of. No pics in micro bikini needed.

Habachi definitely makes the best fried rice. Complete with a show.

Dog, usually. Cat sometimes. Bat if you're feeling adventurous.

For butter I make my own garlic butter. It's a Benihana recipe I found online and makes all the difference.

6-8 garlic clove pressed into paste (I've also used minced garlic and pressed that. Probably about 3 tsp)
2 Tbs soy sauce
3 sticks unsalted butter

Soften butter in bowl at room temperature long enough to mash with fork.
Mix garlic and soy sauce together well.
Add to softened butter and mix well.

For the sauce I just use Kikkoman Stir-fry Sauce. I have made my own but this is easier and just as good.
