Thanks for reminding me. Every time Count Chocula hijacked a thread to hit on Winkface.

I can't find the thread, but I loved the "cooked to perfection" thread started by Martini. It was fun calling restaurants out claiming they cooked something to perfection.

How about this one? A guy comes here looking for a solid jambalaya recipe, "preferably tomato based".

Uh oh.

TD Link

CITWTT and I had this exchange:

quote:

Hey Rodent, I am from Tippytoe, and you can collect all of the CREOLE (do you KNOW ONE CREOLE at all as all of your sources had a black mama at the stove?) recipes and commentary that you wish to do, and none of it will matter. The concepts of food are not to be Googled for an argument, they are to be done over a big fire. The recipes are to come from a person that is from THERE, be it Iran, Viet Nam, Russia, France or where ever. The cooking skills start long before asking for a recipe at 28 years of age.

Somebody off their meds?
Thanks for reminding me, the BP meds are on the menu(there are only a few meds that I do and one gives a good nights sleep, I can't afford the shite it cost $760/mo). If you didn't understand that typing you are a very serious RODENT.

This was CIT's sig line:
quote:

They say there is humor in misfortune, I wonder if they will laugh when I am dead, Why am I dying to live, if I m just living to die
Rest in peace CIT and Mike.

Most of these threads remind me of how much I hated to read LouisianaLady's 4 paragraph diatribes on all things food. In every thread. But now that she had that instapot tragedy and is no longer with us I kinda miss her. RIP LL.

Manufacture error I think is the official word Jax. I'm not sure it wasn't operator error and I'm sure drinking was involved. Though I doubt we'll hear an the official story until after the trial.
