Nola.com reporting this.

Will be owned by the company and not a ‘franchise’

Thoughts?

Hope it goes well.

May be akin to opening a Johnny's Pizza House in New York, tho.

Could be the best chicken in town and still not make it.

If it's even half as good as the one in Memphis, it will still be better than any fried chicken N.O. currently has to offer.

I'll wait for some of my NOLA baws who live here and ate at Gus's before reigning them the new fried chicken king.

We have some pretty good places down here.

Southern Classic/Chick-a-Dilly is the GOAT of drive thru chicken.

I don't get the hype. And that includes a good number of Memphis restaurants.

I'll take the LA State Police Cafeteria, Stockyard Cafe or Delpit's any day over this.

I know a helluva lot more than you, not that that’s saying much. Yeah, I’m from Pittsburgh, but I’ve been in Louisiana since 1989, so I’m not sure what your point is. Impressive stalking skills, btw.

I don’t get the love for Gus’ either. It was good but nothing really special or even memorable.

They didn’t last long in Nashville. I doubt they’ll last long in New Orleans either.

I believe it will be a tough sell in N.O. Hell, Popeye's is the fast food go-to place for fried chicken and they've been here since the 70's.
