When did it go to shite? We went for lunch with the family on Saturday and it was terrible. The burger was cold as was the whole bag of shredded cheese placed on top. The fries were cold as well. The one on Kaliste has been bad for a while, but I expected the other one to be better.

That’s disappointing. Ground pati sr cooked medium with cheese and cheese on the fries was my go to hangover meal when I lived in Lafayette.

That or something from hot food express. Does that place still exist?

That ground patti has been shitty for over a decade. I only remember it being good when I was a little kid and that's probably because I liked the shredded cheese

Same thing happened to us recently. The Patty was good, but every thing else was bad. Especially the fries.

This. If you get stuck there order the flounder sandwich it's probably the best thing they have.

I'm not sure either but I went a few weeks ago and it wasn't as good as I was used to. Also the waitress was crap. We went late and you could tell she wasn't happy about waiting on us as she thought she was about to get off. GP on Johnston used to be one of my favorite burgers in Lafayette, I'll give them another chance but they need to get it together.

Also, on a side note...how is it able to be called Ground Pati and have the same sign as the chain ones but it doesn't seem to be associated or under the chain. I've seen them call out the one on the other side of town on the sign outside. I think it's owned outright by a local and isn't affiliated with the chain. I'm not sure how though?

The “new” Ground Pati on the south side is owned by a local guy, and it looks like a franchise.

It's probably been close to 10 years since I've been, and it was terrible then

C'mon man. Bring your own bottle of Coke to Ground Pati. That's the only that the Judice Inn has over the GP.

There's nothing better than my childhood memory of going to Ground Pati on Sherwood Forest Boulevard. Loved that place.

Same for the old Western Sizzlin' on Airline Highway across from Hammond Aire.

Judice Inn obviously isn't serving cold, shitty food like GP. Don't think a bottle of coke can fix that

GP on Johnston is terrible and has been for a long time. My brother in law insists on going there and I regret it every time. The bun is like the cheapest Dollar Store bun you can think of. Food is typically bland and fries are always terrible.

I swear they buy those premade patties from Sam's Club and just throw them on the grill.

"Turrible"

Skip the GP in Johnson.

Don’t know when but it did go to shite. Wore that place out in the mid 90s for collage. Now I live closer to the kali Saloom one so go there all the time. I wanted to go back to johnson for my birthday a few years ago....garbage. The sads

Did y’all eat it? I’d have sent it back and slipped out when they went to the kitchen.

Drop a $10 bill on the table for your sweet tea and hit up Parish for some ice cold Ghost.
