grill baws; costco has the weber genesis c335e on sale for $549 (normally $929)

i couldn't even help myself, had to bring it home. any weber for $500 is a great deal. cast iron grates, not steel but its a perfect size but at 150 lbs this was a bitch to wrestle out of my car into my backyard.

That's a great grill and that's a great price. You couldn't get them for that even pre-2020.

You can't compare a $3000 grill to a $1000 grill. They aren't in the same category.
For non-ballers, Genesis is the gold standard.

been on this site well over 20 years and posted and benefited from many great deals specifically on this board for sous vide devices, smokers, grills, meat thermometers and a dozen other things.
i appreciate your input that i would take the time to make up a lie about a damn grill i found on sale i thought this board would appreciate.

Late summer/fall can be a sweet spot for rare good markdowns on Weber grills.
I got my Genesis in a similar situation. Grill was already marked down a little, then they announced $100 off all grills in the store that day, then I mentioned to the manager that it was the last of that model with big changes coming in the spring, so he asked if I would take it for another 20% off. Sold.
Had a Weber Spirit for years before that. The Genesis is waaaay better.
Look into replacing the grills with Grill Grates. They sear a steak like nothing else. One of my best purchases. Grillgrate.com

Yes. It's like a 30 day price drop guarantee. I used it on a 4k couch when they dropped it to 3200 5 days later.

holy shite you pay almost $1000 for something (well, we didnt) and i was expecting a 15-30m installation. i spent more than 15 minutes just unboxing shite. i didint think it was ever going to end
this thing was down to the studs; you literally put the entire freaking thing together; it took me a solid 1 1/2 to 2 hours and i routinely build shite so i'm comfortable with 50 pages of instructions.
also the arrogance of weber is stunning and i'm here for it.
not a single extra screw, bolt, washer or anything else. they're so smug and confident in the quality of every unit they ship they don't feel the need to include another .0003 cent plastic pin
and i love everything about that. i dont think there were more than 5 words in the entire install guide. just pictures.
sure enough, mine wasn't missing anything and when i was done, everything found its place. i was getting ready to cuss them out a couple of times over missing pieces but it was just in that GIGANTOR PILE OF BOXES AND PLASTIC sitting there.
used once so far, love it so much.

Just FYI for grill shoppers: Ace Hardware advertises it will assemble and deliver for free if the grill is $399 or more. They have some Webers and other grills marked down now.

I've owned Weber Summit grills for 20 years (I'm only on my 2nd but it's getting long in the tooth), they have an exceptional warranty. I've essentially rebuilt my current grill with all the free parts they've covered under warranty.
