I cut out sugar a year ago and it’s still high. I lost weight but cholesterol is high
"cholesterol is high" is kind of meaningless in and of itself.

I eat almost exclusively grass fed and buy from my local farmers.
Opinions:
-Every cow is different, and all grass isn’t created equal. A farmer with crappy grass will have crappy grass fed beef (and I’ve had plenty). I have physically walked in my farmers’ pastures and know they have wonderful grass.
-To me, conventional beef is almost bland. It has a nice fat flavor, but little else. GOOD grass fed beef has lots of character.

Grass fed is more natural and much better for you. Less fat and no chemicals.
Much better for you in what way? Grass fed may have higher concentrations of some nutrients, but there’s not much evidence that it is generally healthier if you value balanced diets.
You use the word “chemicals” like it is a bad thing. Water is a chemical [shudders]. The grain is what - soy and corn? Vegans eat that shite.
If you enjoy steak, then eat to enjoy it.
Eating grass fed steak is like paying more for fat-free donuts. If you want to put more for subpar pleasure, knock yourself out.

Almost all beef is grass fed. The difference is in the finish. And there is nothing to show that a cow that eats grass it’s entire life until being given delicious grain at the end is better for you. And it certainly doesn’t taste as good.
That Wagyu that everybody nuts over is not grass fed and grass finished.

I don't eat much beef anymore, but grass/pasture raised bison is great.

The beauty of both is, since grass and grain are both vegetables, the meat is vegan.

guess if the animal ends up at a feed lot, as many do, there's little if any grass and they are instead fed with a feed regimen designed to put on weight.
99% of cattle end up in a feed lot. The exception being timed out cows. They are basically inedible for traditional cuts of beef. So they basically go get ground up for hamburger.
Only a very small percentage of calves are finished on grass.
