Looking for something to drink either over rocks or maybe mixed with a little water.
Something other than crown, JD, Old Charter, stuff like that. Want something different and smooth. Any suggestions?

Woodford, Makers, Jameson and others are damn fine. But give me Old Charter and I'm content ereytime.

I will second Eagle Rare. Love that stuff.

Having a a hard time deciding if I am going with the Rare or a bottle of vodka for this weekend to start the football season.

Def. beer all day, but as the sun gets ready to go down and I am standing over the grill watching my steaks sizzle, I need to have a good vodka or bourbon in hand.

Not in the mood to sip red wine while watching LSU.

This stuff is great... I picked up a bottle about 2 weeks ago for less then 20 bucks. It's easily as good if not better then stuff going in the 35-40 dollar range.

Is this hard to find? How much does it run for a bottle?

I don't always drink whiskey, but when I do I prefer George Dickel.

Stay thirsty my friend.

Like $50...they have it everywhere here. Dorignac's is the cheapest though.

Have you been to Martin's Wine in Metry...huge selection of Bourbons. also, as much as I hate the bourbon house's food, their bourbon selection is nice.
