In NOLA looking for some good food in Metairie area. Maybe some seafood/cajun/steak/local food?

Not to be a dick, but why does it have to be Metry?

There's just really limited options. Maybe R&O's or go 30 seconds further and go to Blue Crab.

I love this place for a quick lunch......

Anyone been to Station 6 yet? I've been hearing some decent reviews.

Went to Station 6 recently and it was great. Went with six people and everyone's fish (different entrees) was cooked perfectly. Biggest oysters I've ever had. Desserts were good too. Would definitely go back.

Very good. Their pompano dish is fantastic.

Its up there with Peche' for me as far as fish dishes are concerned. Much smaller menu though.

R&Os should probably top your list. I'd add Mr. Eds (either Metairie location, look at both menus) and Acme on Vets to what others have said.

Depending on what part of Metairie you're in and if River Ridge and Harahan are close, I like Seithers, the Ridge, Charles, and Oak Oven.

If you want to stretch it out to Kenner, I like Kenner Seafood.
