It’s extremely disappointing that this thread has degenerated into a food discussion when it was so good before.

Ha!

I'll admit, that I was kind of jealous that there was a 10-page thread on this board that I had no interest in (I haven't been back to Baton Rouge in about 10 years or so), so when the opportunity presented itself, I had to take advantage.

I actually think he's a really friendly dude despite all the shite he's done, but it would have been TD perfection if we saw him at Supper Club. I'm sure he's been there, assuming he's still roaming free.

Is God a mover or a shaker?

Of course not, but I don't go out for BBQ and seldom go out for steak. I make much better BBQ in my back yard and why pay a lot of money for a steak when I can easily make it at the house. I admit I still on occasion order a steak.

I get the comment on steak, as I hardly ever order steak while out at a restaurant, but BBQ? If it's noon, and I want brisket, I'm not getting it until the next day. Sometimes I want it then, so I just go to my local BBQ spot (Blanchard's), and get some awesome BBQ immediately.

I cook BBQ every weekend just about and the last thing I feel like eating when going out to eat is BBQ. That is all. Agree about steak.

Has anyone mentioned that "Supper Club" is a corny, uncreative name for a dining establishment?

I gotta say, this has to be the most reaction in this board for a new restaurant in BR that I can recall

I haven't seen this much reaction since Pancho's reopened on Siegen

We had a friend convinced that Pancho’s was El Tiempo level food before it reopened

She was pissed

Can anyone speak to the valet/vehicles in parking lot piece of this? And no Deep Throat bus boy telling all yet?

Can someone get Kelly Sills a reservation?
