Krispy Krunchy makes some pretty decent fried chicken pieces.

Anybody ever try their new fried whole chicken? Might have to try me some of that?

I am unsure and not very interested in a whole fried chicken, but I have long stated my belief that some of the very best fried chicken I have ever experienced has come from gas station chicken cooking operations.

I am also a big fan of JoJo Tater Logs and Diet Dr. Peppers.

Conoco fried chicken in Grand Isle.

Then again, I've never had it sober so it really may not be that great.

Take that back. Brothers can’t carry Bastrop Krispy Krunchy’s jock strap.

Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Gas station or restaurant.

Both Brothers and Krispy Krunchy do a solid job for what it is. Fun story, my buddy developed the recipe for the red beans at Krispy Krunchy. Apparently individual franchises can elect to offer menu items, and the company saw this was an item being neglected because it was not halal (contained bacon grease). So he had to find a substitute. Food science. Crazy stuff. Cool story bro.
